If the audience cannot connect to the argument then they might dismiss it as wrong or over the top. Therefore, if the writer can capture the attention of the audience then they will want to agree with it as well.When writing a persuasive essay the best way to do it is to have a well thought out topic. One that can be taken as a whole subject. The writer can then create several different arguments that cover all of the different viewpoints the topic may have and in the end the reader will still not understand exactly what the writer wants them to believe.
